Enjoying the excellent Muzza’s

For fabulous cafe food you must pay a visit to Muzza’s on Sandown High Street where there’s a great selection of dishes on offer and they’re all home- made using local produce whenever possible.

If you’re a soup lover then you’ll be in heaven as they have up to eight different home-made soups on the menu with flavours such as Moroccan vegetable, spiced parsnip and apple and sweet potato with butternut squash and a hint of black garlic. All soups are gluten free too.

Ice-cream fans are also in for a treat as they make their own gelato Italian style ice-cream using milk from nearby Queen Bower Farm. Great to have on their marmalade and whisky flavoured bread and butter pudding – yum!

Drop in for a warming white hot chocolate or a Lavazza barista coffee, flavoured with a seasonal spicy syrup if you wish. Then add a slice of their coffee, carrot or lemon drizzle home-made cakes. Plus there are delicious patisseries – again all made in house.

Hearty traditional breakfasts are on the menu all day, and there are a dozen or so special lunch options daily that include dishes such as salmon in a creamy herb sauce, lamb korma or goats cheese and cherry tomato quiche.

Loads of great vegetarian options are offered such as a real vegetable lasagne, paneer and spinach curry and hallumi and spinach pie and of course many of their soups are vegetarian too.

Wondering about the name? Muzza is short for Murray and Phillip and Karen Murray have run this popular cafe for almost five years. Drop in for a warm welcome.
